Overview

The LUBA 3 AWD 3000 ($2,799) is the entry-level version of the Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD. It is rated for lawns up to 3,000 m² and slopes up to 80%. Navigation: Tri-Fusion: 360° LiDAR + dual cameras + NetRTK.

Flagship all-wheel-drive mower that fuses LiDAR, cameras and NetRTK for large, steep and complex lawns.

On paper it suits large gardens — the manufacturer rates it for up to 3,000 m². With an 80% slope rating and all-wheel drive it is one of the better climbers in our catalog, built for hillside lawns and rough ground. As always, treat the area figure as a best case: buy with a 30–50% buffer if your lawn has slopes, trees or narrow passages.

Its LiDAR sensor scans the garden in 3D and lets the mower localise itself against that map, so it keeps working under trees, next to house walls and at dusk — places where satellite-only mowers often lose their position. Positioning uses network RTK: correction data arrives over the internet, so there is no reference station to mount on the house, but a mobile or Wi-Fi connection is needed.

It mows with a 40 cm cutting width and a cutting height of 25–70 mm. Cutting system: 2 discs, 6 blades each. Power comes from a 12 Ah battery — 150 min runtime, 105 min charge. Rated noise is 64 dB(A). It weighs about 19 kg. Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G (NetRTK).

The LUBA 3 AWD family also includes the LUBA 3 AWD 5000; the versions differ mainly in rated area, battery and price, so pick the smallest one that covers your lawn with a margin.

Price: $2,799. Prices vary by market and retailer — check current offers before buying.
